Yemeni Silver Filigree Armlet / Bracelet
A wonderfully preserved and wearable tribal bracelet or armlet, possibly made by the Rashaida people. This piece is decorated all around with applied filigree and applique decoration. The solder join, visible on the inside, is skillfully hidden on the outside by an applied filigree rosette. This would be a fine bracelet for a larger wrist or could be worn farther up the arm.
Approximate dimensions: 2 3/4 inches inner diameter, 3 inches max exterior width x 1 1/4” wide.
